The Balboa Expander Board Relay 30amp 2 Speed Pump GL - 55026 is designed specifically for use with hot tubs and spas. This expander PCB is used with compatible Balboa GL control systems to add relay control for one additional 2-speed pump, with 30A fuse protection for the pump circuit.

Fitting Guide
This board is fitted inside a compatible Balboa GL control box and works alongside the main PCB. It provides the additional relay switching required for a 2-speed pump, allowing high and low speed control through the system where the GL setup supports it.
The connected pump must be a suitable 2-speed type and the current draw must remain within the 30A protected circuit. This board is not a stand-alone controller and cannot be used to add unsupported equipment to a GL pack that has not been designed or configured for this expander.
Dipswitch Settings
DIP switch and setup requirements depend on the exact GL control box and equipment layout. The main PCB must be configured for the correct pump arrangement so the topside controls operate the added 2-speed pump in the intended way.
- Use the wiring diagram or tech sheet for the exact GL control system.
- Confirm the setup supports an additional 2-speed pump before fitting.
- Copy existing settings only when replacing the same expander in the same system.
- Check voltage configuration before powering the system after installation.
Important Notes
Installation involves mains voltage components inside the spa control box and is for a qualified electrician, experienced spa engineer or competent individual. Incorrect board selection, wiring, pump type, DIP switch setup or use on an incompatible control system can cause pump faults, board damage or warranty issues.
Your order will generally be dispatched on the same working day, provided payment is received before 2 pm Monday - Friday. We use a few shipping companies such as DPD, EVRI, & Royal Mail to achieve the most cost-effective methods for delivering the different types of products that we stock.
All our shipments are tracked and signed for by our designated shipping companies. If you leave us your mobile telephone number at the payment checkout, we will pass this on to the courier, and usually they will text you with delivery updates.
Most products are available for next working day delivery if ordered before 2 PM between Monday-Friday.
Expect orders placed on Friday after 2 pm to be delivered on Monday.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Although we do our absolute best to deliver the next working day, it is not guaranteed. At least 99% of our orders do and will arrive the next working day, but there are exceptions.
- We do not offer refunds for late arrival.
- When you receive your email notification from the courier, you will be given the option to change your delivery details. If you use this service and there is an issue with the courier, we accept no responsibility.
- All the delivery prices listed below are inclusive of VAT to the UK Mainland. All other countries will not be charged VAT unless specified.
- No chemicals can be shipped to the UK mainland with the exception of Northern Ireland. Unfortunately, we no longer ship chemicals to Ireland or any other European/International destinations.
SPA COVERS: Unfortunately, due to the size of spa covers, they have to be shipped by freight at a cost of £24.00 and usually take around 3-5 days to be delivered. Stock held covers take around 10-14 days from the time of order to be shipped, custom covers 6-8 weeks from the date of ordering. Covers are only sold and shipped to UK mainland customers, excluding remote areas such as the Scottish Highlands.
