Balboa BP200UX Expander Board - Blower 59231-01
The Balboa BP200UX Expander Board Blower 59231-01 is designed specifically for use with hot tubs and spas. This X-B blower expander PCB adds a dedicated blower output to compatible Balboa BP200UX control systems, allowing the correct BP200UX setup to run a 1-speed air blower through an additional relay board.

Fitting Guide
This board is fitted inside a BP200UX control box using the expander mounting position provided in the system. The expander connects to the BP200UX main board via J5, with W12 used for the power supply connection, J3 used for the control signal connection and J6 used for the blower motor connection.
The BP200UX system can use only one expander board at a time. This means the X-B blower expander cannot be used at the same time as the X-P2151 pump 2 expander, part number 59233.
Dipswitch Settings
After fitting the X-B expander, the BP200UX must be configured to a blower setup. Setup 3 is used where the system has programmable filtration with a circulation pump. Setup 4 is used where there is no circulation pump and the system uses Pump 1 with blower control.
- DIP Switch A1 is used to enter and exit Test Mode during setup selection.
- Where the blower is wired to the heater service, DIP Switch A8 ON makes the blower turn off the heater.
- Where the blower is wired to the Pump 1 service, DIP Switches A2 and A3 ON allow the heater to remain available.
- DIP Switch A5 is normally used where Pump 1 high speed and blower must not run together.
Important Notes
This X-B expander is for BP200UX systems only. It is not suitable for BP200G1, BP200G2, BP200G3, BP100UX or BP2100 systems. The connected blower must not exceed the 4A maximum rating, and the F5 fuse must remain the correct 10A 250V rating.
Installation involves mains voltage wiring inside the spa control box. Fitting is for a qualified electrician, experienced spa engineer or competent individual. Incorrect setup selection, incorrect expander choice, overloading the blower output or fitting the board to an incompatible control system can cause faults, board damage or warranty issues.
Your order will generally be dispatched on the same working day, provided payment is received before 2 pm Monday - Friday. We use a few shipping companies such as DPD, EVRI, & Royal Mail to achieve the most cost-effective methods for delivering the different types of products that we stock.
All our shipments are tracked and signed for by our designated shipping companies. If you leave us your mobile telephone number at the payment checkout, we will pass this on to the courier, and usually they will text you with delivery updates.
Most products are available for next working day delivery if ordered before 2 PM between Monday-Friday.
Expect orders placed on Friday after 2 pm to be delivered on Monday.

- All the delivery prices listed below are inclusive of VAT to the UK Mainland. All other countries will not be charged VAT unless specified.
- No chemicals can be shipped to the UK mainland with the exception of Northern Ireland. Unfortunately, we no longer ship chemicals to Ireland or any other European/International destinations.
SPA COVERS: Unfortunately, due to the size of spa covers, they have to be shipped by freight at a cost of £24.00 and usually take around 3-5 days to be delivered. Stock held covers take around 10-14 days from the time of order to be shipped, custom covers 6-8 weeks from the date of ordering. Covers are only sold and shipped to UK mainland customers, excluding remote areas such as the Scottish Highlands.
