The LX APR800 V2 Hot Tub Air Blower - APR800-V2 is designed specifically for use with hot tubs and spas. This heated air blower combines a 700W motor with a 180W heater to produce warm air bubbles, helping reduce cooling during use while providing enough airflow for systems running around 16 to 32 air jets. It is commonly fitted to Danz spas and many Chinese-built hot tubs, and is also used on systems with Balboa, Gecko, Aeware, SpaNet, Hydroquip and Pentair controls where the connection type and output match.

Fitting Guide

If replacing an LX APR800 V2 or APR800-V2 like for like, switch the spa power off, remove the power cable from the spa control box, unthread the air outlet pipe connection, remove the fixings securing the blower in place, and install the replacement in reverse order. Check that the new blower matches the voltage, plug type, union size and mounting space before reconnecting.

For new installations, this unit is normally mounted horizontally with enough space around the housing for ventilation and future servicing. The standard connection is an AMP plug, often used with Balboa, Ethink and Aeware in.y systems; adapters can be used where Mini J&J or in.link connections are required for some Hydroquip, Pentair, Gecko, Aeware in.xe and in.xm packs. When solvent welding pipework, leave the blower disconnected while gluing the union to the pipe and allow fumes to clear fully before startup.
