Fitting Guide

If replacing a like-for-like LX AP200 V2 Hot Tub Air Blower or AP200-V2, switch off spa power first, remove the power cable from the spa control box, unthread the air outlet pipe connection, remove the fixings holding the blower in place, and install the replacement in reverse order. This unit is generally straightforward to swap where the existing blower uses the same 1" threaded union and AMP-style lead.

For new installations, the blower is intended for horizontal mounting inside the spa cabinet and should be positioned with adequate ventilation around it for cooling and with access for future servicing. The supplied cable length is 1.5m, and the blower is typically installed within 2m of the spa. Before fitting a replacement after water ingress, check that the air line one-way valve is working correctly. If solvent welding pipework, allow fumes to clear fully before running the blower, as trapped fumes in the airline can damage the unit.
