LX AP700 V2 Hot Tub Air Blower

LX AP700 V2 Hot Tub Air Blower

This LX AP700 V2 Hot Tub Air Blower - AP700-V2 is designed specifically for use with hot tubs and spas. It is a 700W air blower with LX's double impeller V2 motor, commonly fitted to larger hot tubs, spa pools and swim spas where strong air output is needed across bigger jet layouts. Often found on systems used by brands such as Danz Spas, Spa Serve, AMC Winer, Cascade, MAAX, Monalisa and Trinity, it is also suitable as a like-for-like replacement for earlier AP700 units.

Key Features

• The 700W, 1.0HP double impeller motor is built to provide high air output for larger spas and swim spas, with enough capacity to run around 16 to 32 air jets.
• The V2 two-stage design produces airflow of up to 2.0-2.3 m/min with a maximum air pressure of 2.1m, helping maintain bubble performance on longer pipe runs and deeper installations.
• A low-noise excitation motor and Class F insulation help keep running noise below 70 dB(A) while supporting regular spa use.
• The blower body is made from reinforced heat-resistant ABS plastic and includes VDE/UL approved thermal protection for dependable operation in spa cabinets.
• Plumbing connection is via a 1 inch threaded union, around 32-33mm outside diameter, and the supplied union can be glued onto 32mm pipework where required.
• Electrical connection is by 1.5m cable with AMP-style plug or ring terminals, with Mini J&J adaptor options available separately for compatible control systems.
• The angled mounting bracket allows upright or side mounting to suit different cabinet layouts.
• It is a common replacement for LX AP700 blowers and remains backward compatible with earlier non-V2 AP700 models.
• This model is regularly used on many Chinese-built spas, including systems fitted in Danz Spas, Spa Serve, AMC Winer, Cascade, MAAX, Monalisa and Trinity.

Fitting Guide

If replacing a like-for-like LX AP700 V2 Hot Tub Air Blower or AP700-V2, switch off power to the spa first. Remove the power cable from the spa control box, unthread the air outlet pipe connection, remove the fixings securing the blower in place, then install the replacement in reverse order. Check the voltage matches your existing unit before fitting, and confirm the pin-out on the spa pack if wiring directly with ring terminals.

For new installations, the blower connects to a 1 inch threaded union and can be mounted upright or on its side using the angled bracket. Fit it in a dry, ventilated area with enough space around the motor for cooling and future servicing. A bayonet union kit can also be used where a glueless connection is preferred. If the old blower failed due to water ingress, inspect the air line check valve before fitting the new one. Positioning the blower in a warm spa cabinet can also help draw slightly pre-warmed air from around pumps and heaters.
