Genesis Hot Tub Air Blower G90-2NN-S

Genesis Hot Tub Air Blower G90-2NN-S

The Genesis Hot Tub Air Blower G90-2NN-S is designed specifically for use with hot tubs and spas. This 900W non-heated air blower is suited to medium and larger spa systems that need strong airflow for bubble jets without a built-in heater. It is commonly used on spas from Spaform, Catalina and Aegean, and is a practical like-for-like replacement where the original blower used electronic on/off control and a 1.5" BSP air outlet.

Key Features

• The 900W motor provides strong air output for systems running around 8 to 15 air jets, making it suitable for medium to large hot tubs and spas.
• This is a non-heated blower, so it is often used where the spa already has an effective heating system and no heated air blower is required.
• The blower uses an electronic on/off control format, allowing it to work with compatible spa packs and control systems.
• A 1.5" BSP threaded male air outlet is fitted, and a 32mm union is included to help with plumbing alignment during replacement.
• The outlet union is rotatable, which can make pipe positioning easier in tighter equipment bays.
• A standard replaceable 3-core cable design allows the power lead to be changed on site to match the existing wiring arrangement where needed.
• An automatic air system dry-out function helps clear residual moisture from the line after use, reducing the risk of internal water damage.
• Built-in thermal motor protection cuts the unit out if it overheats and helps protect the blower during operation.
• The blue polypropylene housing is rigid, water-resistant and suited to normal spa equipment area conditions.
• This model is regularly fitted as a replacement on Spaform, Catalina and Aegean spas.
• It can also replace alternative part numbers GB90-2NN-S and GB90-2NJ-B where the fitment and control type match.

Fitting Guide

If replacing a like-for-like Genesis Hot Tub Air Blower G90-2NN-S, switch off power to the spa first, remove the power cable from the spa control box, unthread the air outlet pipe connection, remove the fixings securing the blower in place, and install the new unit in reverse order. This is the simplest route when the existing blower has the same outlet size, control type and electrical arrangement.

For installation details, this blower uses a 1.5" BSP male outlet with a 32mm union supplied. If a 1" connection is required, an adaptor fitting can be purchased seperately. The maximum recommended distance from blower to water feature is 5 metres. A double air loop and check valve, or two check valves, should be fitted above maximum water level to help prevent water ingress. The unit should be mounted in a ventilated area and secured through the rubber feet with three screws. Supply is 230VAC 50Hz with a 3-core cable, and any electrical work should be carried out by a suitably qualified person. If the previous blower failed due to water getting into the unit, check the air line and valve arrangement before fitting the replacement.
