Genesis Hot Tub Air Blower G90-2HN-S

Genesis Hot Tub Air Blower G90-2HN-S

This Genesis Hot Tub Air Blower G90-2HN-S is designed specifically for use with hot tubs and spas. It is a heated air blower for medium to larger spa systems, combining a 900W motor with an integrated 250W heater for 1150W total output. Commonly fitted to a wide range of Spaform, Catalina, Aegean and Arctic Spa installations, it is a like-for-like replacement where the original blower specification matches.

Key Features

• The built-in 250W heater warms the airflow before it reaches the spa, helping avoid the cold blast often felt with non-heated blowers.
• Its 1.21 HP output is suited to systems with around 8 to 15 air jets, making it a practical choice for medium to large hot tubs.
• The blower uses an electronic on/off control format, intended for connection through compatible spa packs and control systems.
• A 1.5" BSP male threaded air outlet is fitted, and a 32mm union is included to simplify plumbing connection and alignment.
• It is supplied with a standard replaceable 3-core cable for electrical connection to the spa control box.
• The blue polypropylene housing is rigid, water-resistant and built for spa equipment bay conditions, with an IPX5 protection rating.
• An automatic air system dry-out function helps clear residual moisture from the airline after use.
• Built-in thermal protection is included for both the motor and heater.
• This model is commonly used on many Spaform models including Atlantic, Esperanto, Fraser, Geneva, Grand Canyon, Milano, Odyssey, Oslo, Platinum, Tango and Utopia.
• It is also regularly found on Catalina, Aegean and Arctic Spa systems where the original blower uses the same specification and connection layout.

Fitting Guide

If replacing a like-for-like Genesis Hot Tub Air Blower G90-2HN-S, switch the spa power off fully, remove the blower power cable from the spa control box, unthread the air outlet pipe connection, remove the fixings securing the blower in place, and install the new unit in reverse order. This model uses a 1.5" BSP male outlet with a 32mm union, so matching the existing plumbing and electrical layout is important before fitting.

For new installations, mount the blower in a dry, ventilated position and secure it through the rubber mounting feet. The maximum recommended distance from blower to spa is 5 metres. The air line should include either a double air loop and check valve, or two check valves, above the maximum water level to help prevent water ingress. If the previous blower failed because water reached the unit, the check valve should be inspected and replaced before fitting the new blower. The heater operates when the blower is running, and the unit includes thermal cut-out protection if temperatures rise too high.
