The Balboa GS520DZ PCB 55847 is designed specifically for use with hot tubs and spas. This replacement circuit board is for Balboa GS520DZ spa control boxes and is used on systems requiring three pump outputs, heater control, ozone, 12V lighting and Deluxe VL topside control compatibility.

Fitting Guide
This PCB is intended for replacing a failed board inside a compatible GS520DZ spa control box. It provides control for Pump 1, Pump 2, optional air blower or single-speed pump via J17, heater output, ozone output and 12V spa lighting.
The board layout and configuration need to match the existing GS520DZ system. Existing wiring positions, pump connections, topside connection, sensor plugs and switch settings are key reference points when transferring from the old PCB.
Dipswitch Settings
DIP switch settings configure the board for the pump arrangement and connected spa equipment. The old board settings are normally the clearest reference where the previous setup was correct and the spa equipment has not been changed.
- Match the setup to the GS520DZ control box configuration.
- Confirm Pump 1 and Pump 2 connections before setup.
- Check whether J17 is being used for an air blower or a single-speed pump.
- Use the Balboa technical sheet where the original switch positions are missing or unclear.
Important Notes
This board is for GS520DZ control boxes only and is not a universal Balboa GS PCB. It uses Deluxe VL topside controls such as VL801D and VL802D, so the topside type must be checked as well as the control box model.
PCB replacement involves mains voltage components and spa control configuration. Fitting is for an experienced tradesperson, spa engineer or competent individual. Incorrect board selection, incorrect wiring or incorrect switch configuration can damage the PCB and invalidate warranty cover.
Your order will generally be dispatched on the same working day, provided payment is received before 2 pm Monday - Friday. We use a few shipping companies such as DPD, EVRI, & Royal Mail to achieve the most cost-effective methods for delivering the different types of products that we stock.
All our shipments are tracked and signed for by our designated shipping companies. If you leave us your mobile telephone number at the payment checkout, we will pass this on to the courier, and usually they will text you with delivery updates.
Most products are available for next working day delivery if ordered before 2 PM between Monday-Friday.
Expect orders placed on Friday after 2 pm to be delivered on Monday.

- All the delivery prices listed below are inclusive of VAT to the UK Mainland. All other countries will not be charged VAT unless specified.
- No chemicals can be shipped to the UK mainland with the exception of Northern Ireland. Unfortunately, we no longer ship chemicals to Ireland or any other European/International destinations.
SPA COVERS: Unfortunately, due to the size of spa covers, they have to be shipped by freight at a cost of £24.00 and usually take around 3-5 days to be delivered. Stock held covers take around 10-14 days from the time of order to be shipped, custom covers 6-8 weeks from the date of ordering. Covers are only sold and shipped to UK mainland customers, excluding remote areas such as the Scottish Highlands.
