The Balboa GS510SZ PCB 54518 - G1552 is designed specifically for use with hot tubs and spas. This replacement circuit board is used in Balboa GS501SZ and GS510SZ control boxes and supports dual pump operation, heater control, ozone, lighting and optional blower output.

Fitting Guide
This PCB is intended as a replacement board for an existing GS501SZ or GS510SZ control box with a confirmed board fault. It provides control for Pump 1, Pump 2, optional circulation setup, optional blower or single-speed pump through J17, heater, ozone and 12V lighting.
Before removal, record the existing plug positions, wiring layout and switch configuration from the old board. The replacement board may need to be set to match the connected spa equipment and the Serial Standard VL topside panel fitted to the system.
Dipswitch Settings
DIP switches set the board configuration for the pump layout, circulation arrangement and connected outputs. The original board settings are often the best starting point when the previous installation was correct and the spa equipment has not been changed.
- Match the settings to the GS501SZ or GS510SZ control box configuration.
- Check the setup for Pump 1, Pump 2 and any circulation pump arrangement.
- Confirm whether J17 is being used for an air blower or a single-speed pump.
- Use the Balboa technical sheet where the original switch positions are missing or unclear.
Important Notes
This board is for GS501SZ and GS510SZ control boxes only and is not a universal Balboa PCB. It is the current Balboa G1552 reference and replaces earlier board references 54515, 54516, 54650, 54517, 54518 and 53642.
The GS510SZ uses Serial Standard VL topside controls such as VL700S and VL701S. It is not the same as GS510DZ, which is associated with Deluxe VL panels. PCB replacement involves mains voltage components and spa control configuration, so fitting is for an experienced tradesperson, spa engineer or competent individual. Incorrect wiring or setup can damage the board and invalidate warranty cover.
Your order will generally be dispatched on the same working day, provided payment is received before 2 pm Monday - Friday. We use a few shipping companies such as DPD, EVRI, & Royal Mail to achieve the most cost-effective methods for delivering the different types of products that we stock.
All our shipments are tracked and signed for by our designated shipping companies. If you leave us your mobile telephone number at the payment checkout, we will pass this on to the courier, and usually they will text you with delivery updates.
Most products are available for next working day delivery if ordered before 2 PM between Monday-Friday.
Expect orders placed on Friday after 2 pm to be delivered on Monday.

- All the delivery prices listed below are inclusive of VAT to the UK Mainland. All other countries will not be charged VAT unless specified.
- No chemicals can be shipped to the UK mainland with the exception of Northern Ireland. Unfortunately, we no longer ship chemicals to Ireland or any other European/International destinations.
SPA COVERS: Unfortunately, due to the size of spa covers, they have to be shipped by freight at a cost of £24.00 and usually take around 3-5 days to be delivered. Stock held covers take around 10-14 days from the time of order to be shipped, custom covers 6-8 weeks from the date of ordering. Covers are only sold and shipped to UK mainland customers, excluding remote areas such as the Scottish Highlands.
