The Balboa GS501Z PCB 54512 - G1551 is designed specifically for use with hot tubs and spas. This replacement circuit board is used in Balboa GS500Z and GS501Z Spa control boxes and is the current Balboa reference for several earlier GS500Z and GS501Z PCB part numbers.

Fitting Guide
This PCB is a replacement board for an existing GS500Z or GS501Z spa control box with a confirmed PCB fault. The board controls the main pump circuit, optional circulation pump arrangement, optional blower or single-speed pump through J17, heater, ozone output and 12V lighting.
Before removal, record the existing wiring positions, plug locations and current switch configuration from the old board. The replacement board may require the same mode and switch setup as the failed PCB, depending on the control box, topside panel and fitted spa equipment.
Dipswitch Settings
DIP switch settings are used to configure the board for the equipment fitted to the spa. On many replacements, the safest reference point is the original board, provided the previous setup was correct for the spa.
- Match the switch positions to the spa pack wiring and connected components.
- Use the Balboa technical sheet where the original settings are unknown.
- Check the correct setup for Pump 1, circulation pump use and J17 output.
- Incorrect configuration can cause buttons to operate the wrong components or prevent the spa from running correctly.
Important Notes
This board is for GS500Z and GS501Z control boxes only and must not be fitted into unrelated spa packs or other equipment. It is commonly associated with Spaform, Spaform Esperanto range and Great Lakes systems using the relevant Balboa GS control box.
PCB replacement involves mains voltage components and spa control configuration. Fitting is for an experienced tradesperson, spa engineer or competent individual. Incorrect installation, incorrect wiring or incorrect configuration can damage the board and invalidate warranty cover.
Your order will generally be dispatched on the same working day, provided payment is received before 2 pm Monday - Friday. We use a few shipping companies such as DPD, EVRI, & Royal Mail to achieve the most cost-effective methods for delivering the different types of products that we stock.
All our shipments are tracked and signed for by our designated shipping companies. If you leave us your mobile telephone number at the payment checkout, we will pass this on to the courier, and usually they will text you with delivery updates.
Most products are available for next working day delivery if ordered before 2 PM between Monday-Friday.
Expect orders placed on Friday after 2 pm to be delivered on Monday.

- All the delivery prices listed below are inclusive of VAT to the UK Mainland. All other countries will not be charged VAT unless specified.
- No chemicals can be shipped to the UK mainland with the exception of Northern Ireland. Unfortunately, we no longer ship chemicals to Ireland or any other European/International destinations.
SPA COVERS: Unfortunately, due to the size of spa covers, they have to be shipped by freight at a cost of £24.00 and usually take around 3-5 days to be delivered. Stock held covers take around 10-14 days from the time of order to be shipped, custom covers 6-8 weeks from the date of ordering. Covers are only sold and shipped to UK mainland customers, excluding remote areas such as the Scottish Highlands.
