Balboa GS500Z PCB - 54510
The Balboa GS500Z PCB 54510 is designed specifically for use with hot tubs and spas. This replacement circuit board is for Balboa GS500Z and GS500 control boxes, commonly found in single pump spa systems using Duplex VL range topside controls.
THIS PCB IS NOW DISCONTINUED, PLEASE USE GS501Z PCB 54512. THE GS501Z PCB IS ALSO DISCONTINUED SO WHEN THE STOCK RUNS OUT YOU WILL NEED TO UPGRADE TO A NEW BP CONTROL SYSTEM.

Fitting Guide
This PCB is intended for replacing a failed board inside a compatible GS500Z or GS500 spa control box. It controls Pump 1, optional circulation pump operation, heater output, ozone output and 12V spa lighting.
Before removing the old PCB, record the existing wiring positions, topside connection, sensor plugs and switch settings. The replacement board must match the original control box layout and fitted spa equipment.
Dipswitch Settings
DIP switch settings configure the board for the pump and circulation setup fitted to the spa. Where the existing system was operating correctly before the PCB failure, the old board settings are normally the most useful reference point.
- Match the settings to the GS500Z or GS500 control box configuration.
- Confirm whether Pump 1 is single-speed or dual-speed.
- Check whether the system uses an optional circulation pump.
- Use the correct Balboa technical information where the original settings are missing or unclear.
Important Notes
This PCB is for GS500Z and GS500 control boxes only and is not a universal Balboa board. The GS500Z PCB is no longer manufactured by Balboa, so once available stock has gone, the usual options are a suitable GS501Z PCB replacement or a complete control box and topside upgrade.
PCB replacement involves mains voltage components and spa control configuration. Fitting is for an experienced tradesperson, spa engineer or competent individual. Incorrect wiring, incorrect board selection or incorrect configuration can damage the PCB and invalidate warranty cover.
Your order will generally be dispatched on the same working day, provided payment is received before 2 pm Monday - Friday. We use a few shipping companies such as DPD, EVRI, & Royal Mail to achieve the most cost-effective methods for delivering the different types of products that we stock.
All our shipments are tracked and signed for by our designated shipping companies. If you leave us your mobile telephone number at the payment checkout, we will pass this on to the courier, and usually they will text you with delivery updates.
Most products are available for next working day delivery if ordered before 2 PM between Monday-Friday.
Expect orders placed on Friday after 2 pm to be delivered on Monday.

- No chemicals can be shipped to the UK mainland with the exception of Northern Ireland. Unfortunately, we no longer ship chemicals to Ireland or any other European/International destinations.
SPA COVERS: Unfortunately, due to the size of spa covers, they have to be shipped by freight at a cost of £24.00 and usually take around 3-5 days to be delivered. Stock held covers take around 10-14 days from the time of order to be shipped, custom covers 6-8 weeks from the date of ordering. Covers are only sold and shipped to UK mainland customers, excluding remote areas such as the Scottish Highlands.
