CG Air 900W Hot Tub Air Blower (Heated)

CG Air 900W Hot Tub Air Blower (Heated)

This CG Air 900W Hot Tub Air Blower (Heated) - SL0-3-90-230/50-AMP-CE-10' SLO-3-90-230 is designed specifically for use with hot tubs and spas. It combines a 900W blower motor with a 300W ceramic heater to deliver warm air through the spa air line, helping reduce the cold bubble effect often noticed with standard non-heated blowers. Commonly fitted to North American-built spas, it is also used as a replacement on selected Sunrise Spas, Canadian Spa Company and other systems using CG Air SLO series heated blowers.

Key Features

• The integrated 300W ceramic heater warms the incoming air to around body temperature before it reaches the water, improving comfort during bubble massage.
• Its 900W motor provides strong air output for hot tubs and spas that use a dedicated air blower system.
• Built-in thermal protection helps prevent the heater element from overheating during operation.
• Anti-vibration mounting plates with rubber pins help reduce transmitted vibration and keep running noise down.
• An integrated silencer is included to limit blower noise in the equipment bay.
• The motor uses graphite carbon brushes with an expected domestic service life of around 1,500 hours.
• The air outlet is a 1.5 inch smooth socket with an internal diameter of approximately 48mm, suiting common spa air pipe connections.
• The unit is supplied for 230V / 50Hz installations and uses an AMP style lead configuration.
• Suitable as a like-for-like replacement where the existing blower is marked SLO-3-90 or SLO-3-90-230/50A-CE.
• Also used in some spas with Sunrise Spas reference numbers R5021605 AMP and R5021604 in.link, subject to matching plug type, voltage and plumbing connection.

Fitting Guide

If replacing a like-for-like CG Air 900W Hot Tub Air Blower (Heated) or matching SLO-3-90 model, switch off power to the spa first, disconnect the blower cable from the spa control box, unthread the air outlet pipe connection, remove the fixings holding the blower in place and fit the new unit in reverse order. Check that the replacement matches the existing voltage, frequency, plug style and 1.5 inch outlet before final installation.

For new installations, the blower should be fitted with a suitable air check valve between the blower and the jet line to stop water travelling back into the unit. A goose-neck loop in the pipework above water level is also recommended for added backflow protection. The heater warms the incoming air only and is not intended to heat the spa water. Leave adequate space around the blower for cooling and service access, and make sure the unit is installed on a 230V 50Hz RCD-protected supply with a connection type that matches the spa pack or the correct adaptor lead.
