Official high-quality replacement 5.5kW Balboa spa heater with pressure switch used specifically on hot tubs and spas. This particular pressure switched model can only be found and fitted to Balboa spa control systems that have the old style metal control boxes.

Balboa Heater Overview
- Heater can be fitted to control boxes such as Balboa Lite Leader, Spaform SF50 & the M1 TUV.
- A metal pouch is located on one side to secure the hi-limit temperature probe in place, Pre-M7 sensors are used.
- Supplied pressure switch is used to determine how much flow is passing through the heater tube and prevents heater failure.
- Found on older spa models from brands such as Spaform, Leisureite, Canadian Spa, Hydropool Hot Tubs, Freedom Spas, Beachcomber, Hydrospa and many others.

Heater Fitting & Removal Guide
This pressure switched Balboa heater is usually mounted on the rear or the bottom of the spa control box, remove the spa control box from the hot tub. Do this by undoing the two large plumbing union collars. Disconnect the pressure switch spade connectors from the pressure switch and then inside the control box remove the 2x 3/8 nuts that secure the two power cables onto the heater terminals. Flip the control box on its face or rear and undo the 4x green bolts that hold the fixing brackets in place. Once removed the heater will come away from the control box and you will now be able to fit the new heater in the same order as you removed the old one.
Take care when tightening the two heater power wires onto the new heater terminals, use a 1/4 inch spanner and hold the base of the terminal whilst tightening the 3/8 inch nuts up to prevent the terminals being twisted. New gaskets are supplied with the new heater so replace and fit these to your heater union connections.

- No chemicals can be shipped to the UK mainland with the exception of Northern Ireland. Unfortunately, we no longer ship chemicals to Ireland or any other European/International destinations.
SPA COVERS: Unfortunately, due to the size of spa covers, they have to be shipped by freight at a cost of £24.00 and usually take around 3-5 days to be delivered. Stock held covers take around 10-14 days from the time of order to be shipped, custom covers 6-8 weeks from the date of ordering. Covers are only sold and shipped to UK mainland customers, excluding remote areas such as the Scottish Highlands.
