2HP 2 Speed 48F Hi-Flo Waterway Spa Pump (2"x2")
This 2hp Waterway Spa Pump model is known as the Hi-Flo and is Waterway's main European 48 frame pump. A powerful Waterway pump but with an economical and efficient smaller 2 speed 2hp 48 frame sized Italian EMG motor that is designed for Europe. This Euro pump model runs on less amps and runs far cooler than any Waterway USA model due to side cooling fins and rear cooling fan.
This is best replacement for the HydroAir HA440 hot tub pump found on 90% of Spaform Hot Tubs. We have used this for the last 10 years and replaced the HA440 countless times so buy with confidence.
Waterway Spa Pump Overview
- This is a 2 speed pump so the low speed is used for heating/filtration and the high speed is used for JETS or Boost operation when bathing in your spa or Hot Tub.
- Pump wet end connects to 2 inch plumbing unions on the inlet and outlet. Both connections have a 78mm outside thread diameter and you can use 2 inch flat gaskets to seal the connections.
- Pump wet end can be rotated from the standard 12 O'clock position to 3 O'clock or 9 O'clock position easily by removing the four 1/4" bolts that attach the wet end to the EMG motor.
- Wiring - This replacement Waterway pump is NOT supplied with a new cable so you will need to swap over from your old existing pump. You will have four wires, two of them are live for high and low speeds (Red, Brown or Black) so make a note when installing. Neutral (Blue or White) and Earth (Green). It can be a bit confusing choosing your new replacement Spa pump as brand names and models are not always written on them. The quickest way is to simply send us some images of the Waterway Spa pump you are replacing though our Contact us page and let us do the work for you.
Your order will generally be dispatched on the same working day, provided payment is received before 2 pm Monday - Friday. We use a few shipping companies such as DPD, EVRI, & DHL to achieve the most cost-effective methods for delivering the different types of products that we stock.
All our shipments are tracked and signed for by our designated shipping companies. If you leave us your mobile telephone number at the payment checkout, we will pass this on to the courier, and usually they will text you with delivery updates.
Most products are available for next working day delivery if ordered before 2 PM between Monday-Friday.
Expect orders placed on Friday to be delivered on Monday.

- Although we do our absolute best to deliver the next working day, it is not guaranteed. At least 99% of our orders do and will arrive the next working day, but there are exceptions.

- All the delivery prices listed below are inclusive of VAT to the UK Mainland. All other countries will not be charged VAT unless specified.
- No chemicals can be shipped to the UK mainland with the exception of Northern Ireland. Unfortunately, we no longer ship chemicals to Ireland or any other European/International destinations.
SPA COVERS: Unfortunately, due to the size of spa covers, they have to be shipped by freight at a cost of £24.00 and usually take around 3-5 days to be delivered. Stock held covers take around 10-14 days from the time of order to be shipped, custom covers 6-8 weeks from the date of ordering. Covers are only sold and shipped to UK mainland customers, excluding remote areas such as the Scottish Highlands.
