1.5kW HydroQuip Double Barrel Heater
High-quality replacement 1.5kw HydroQuip heater 26-C3182-1S to replace the discontinued Watkins No-Fault Triple bend heater found on many Watkins manufactured hot tubs and spas such as Tiger River Spas, Caldera Spas and Hotsprings Spas. This generic replacement spa heater has been much-needed over the last 10 years since the manufacturer Laing stopped production of it. This new HydroQuip heater has the exact same 3/4 inch plumbing connections is designed to replace all the previous models since the year 1995, comes complete with the two different types of sensor connectors used in the past so it doesn't matter which model of heater your Hotspring or Caldera has.

Heater Fitting & Removal Guide
Replacing a Wakins/Laing Triple Bend heater is relatively easy and can be done with spa water in or out, ideally, we recommend taking the water out of your spa. Drain the spa down, unplug the sensors from the IQ2000 or IQ2020 control box along with the heater power cable. Slide back the spring clamps that secure the 3/4 inch vinyl pipe onto the inlet and outlet of the old heater. Heat the vinyl pipe at the heater connections and slide the pipes off, remove the small drain tube off the end of the old heater if it has one along with any small screws that are fixing down the heater within the spas cabinet. Remove the old heater and reinstall the new one the same as you removed. A key point to aid a good tight water seal of the 3/4 inch plumbing connections is to make sure they are heated up when you pop them back on the new heater, whilst hot install the spring clamps and secure in place.
If you are replacing the older Trombone style heater you may require some new 3/4" vinyl pipe and replumb from the circulation pump to the new heater, this also may be necessary from the heater to the ozone Mazzei tee. The pipe and spring clamps are listed in the related products below if required.

All our shipments are tracked and signed for by our designated shipping companies. If you leave us your mobile telephone number at the payment checkout, we will pass this on to the courier, and usually they will text you with delivery updates.
Most products are available for next working day delivery if ordered before 2 PM between Monday-Friday.
Expect orders placed on Friday to be delivered on Monday.

- All the delivery prices listed below are inclusive of VAT to the UK Mainland. All other countries will not be charged VAT unless specified.
- No chemicals can be shipped to the UK mainland with the exception of Northern Ireland. Unfortunately, we no longer ship chemicals to Ireland or any other European/International destinations.
SPA COVERS: Unfortunately, due to the size of spa covers, they have to be shipped by freight at a cost of £24.00 and usually take around 3-5 days to be delivered. Stock held covers take around 10-14 days from the time of order to be shipped, custom covers 6-8 weeks from the date of ordering. Covers are only sold and shipped to UK mainland customers, excluding remote areas such as the Scottish Highlands.
