They come in multiple sizes shapes and colours and in most cases individual parts can be bought such as just the cap or o-rings can be bought instead of having to buy the whole assembly. Each jet in a hot tub has an air and water connection, as the water passes through the jet body a suction is created on the air side, this is called a venturi action.
