2.5kw HydroQuip Flow Thru "Challenger" Heater
Official high-quality replacement 2.5kW HydroQuip heater C2250-0309ET used specifically on hot tubs and spas. This particular 2.5kw heater uses Tecmark 3902 pressure switch (Sold separately) for flow detection and is secured within HydroQuip blue-faced metal control boxes with twin stud mounting. Not a very common heater but found on Gulf Coast HydroQuip spa control packs. This heater has been manufactured by many brands over the years, Therm Products, RMF, Spa Components & Gecko. This HydroQuip heater is now the direct replacement.

- 2x 2-inch heater union gaskets
- 2x stud mounting and 3/8" fixing nuts
- 1x Hi-Limit sensor securing pouch
HydroQuip Heater Overview
- This heater can be fitted to HydroQuip control boxes from Gulf Coast Spas and others.
- A metal pouch is located on one side to secure the hi-limit temperature probe in place.
- Supplied without pressure switch is used to determine how much flow is passing through the heater tube and prevents heater failure.
- Found on older spa models from brands such as Gulf Coast Spas.

Heater Fitting & Removal Guide
Loosen the two heater union collars by hand or with a wrench and if necessary the collars can be split into two and removed completely by unscrewing the two screws on the collar. Remove the chassis earthing copper cable from the heater tube and the Hi-Limit sensor from the securing pouch. take the lid off of the spa control box and disconnect the two spade connectors from the pressure switch. Unthread the pressure switch from the heater tube and then undo the two 3/8" nuts from the heater to control box mounting stud. Remove the heater completely and reinstall in the same order. New gaskets are supplied with the new heater so replace and fit these to your heater union connections. Most products are available for next working day delivery if ordered before 2 PM between Monday-Friday.
Expect orders placed on Friday to be delivered on Monday.

- All the delivery prices listed below are inclusive of VAT to the UK Mainland. All other countries will not be charged VAT unless specified.
- No chemicals can be shipped to the UK mainland with the exception of Northern Ireland. Unfortunately, we no longer ship chemicals to Ireland or any other European/International destinations.
SPA COVERS: Unfortunately, due to the size of spa covers, they have to be shipped by freight at a cost of £24.00 and usually take around 3-5 days to be delivered. Stock held covers take around 10-14 days from the time of order to be shipped, custom covers 6-8 weeks from the date of ordering. Covers are only sold and shipped to UK mainland customers, excluding remote areas such as the Scottish Highlands.
