1.5HP 1 Speed HA440NG Balboa Pump
This modern 1.5hp Balboa HA440NG 1 speed spa pump is a direct replacement for the previously manufactured 2hp HA440 Magnaflow pump which can be found on 90% of Spaform spas. Due to the new design of the HA440NG wet end and the motor, the new pump delivers greater flow and performance which betters all of the older 2hp Magnaflow pumps. The HA440NG is labelled up as a 1.5hp but in fact, has the same performance curve of a 2hp model.
A great, small and compact 48 frame Balboa pump that is very good at fitting in tight spaces within a spas cabinet.
This Balboa pump can be used to replace a range of spa pumps including the HydroAir Magnaflow HA440, Waterway Hi-Flo, Sta-Rite Durajet, Vico Ultrajet & the HydroAir GC150 (with plumbing modifications).
Balboa Spa Pump Overview
- This is a 1-speed pump so the single high speed is used for JETS or Boost operation when bathing in your Spa or Hot Tub.
- Pump wet end connects to 2-inch plumbing unions on the inlet and outlet. Both connections have a 78mm outside thread diameter and you can use 2 inch flat gaskets to seal the connections.
- Pump wet end can be rotated from the standard 12 O'clock position to 3 O'clock or 9 O'clock position easily by removing the four 1/4" bolts that attach the wet end to the motor.
- Wiring - This replacement HA440NG pump is supplied with a new cable but you may need to swap over from your old existing pump as spa control connections can vary. You will have three wires, live for the high speed (Red, Brown or Black). Neutral (Blue or White) and Earth (Green). If you need a new cable for your new pump then see related products.

It can be a bit confusing choosing your new replacement Balboa pump as model details are not always written on them. The quickest way is to simply send us some images of the Balboa Spa pump you are replacing though our Contact us page and let us do the work for you.
Your order will generally be dispatched on the same working day, provided payment is received before 2 pm Monday - Friday. We use a few shipping companies such as DPD, EVRI, & DHL to achieve the most cost-effective methods for delivering the different types of products that we stock.
All our shipments are tracked and signed for by our designated shipping companies. If you leave us your mobile telephone number at the payment checkout, we will pass this on to the courier, and usually they will text you with delivery updates.
Most products are available for next working day delivery if ordered before 2 PM between Monday-Friday.
Expect orders placed on Friday to be delivered on Monday.

- Although we do our absolute best to deliver the next working day, it is not guaranteed. At least 99% of our orders do and will arrive the next working day, but there are exceptions.

- When you receive your email notification from the courier, you will be given the option to change your delivery details. If you use this service and there is an issue with the courier, we accept no responsibility.
- All the delivery prices listed below are inclusive of VAT to the UK Mainland. All other countries will not be charged VAT unless specified.
- No chemicals can be shipped to the UK mainland with the exception of Northern Ireland. Unfortunately, we no longer ship chemicals to Ireland or any other European/International destinations.
SPA COVERS: Unfortunately, due to the size of spa covers, they have to be shipped by freight at a cost of £24.00 and usually take around 3-5 days to be delivered. Stock held covers take around 10-14 days from the time of order to be shipped, custom covers 6-8 weeks from the date of ordering. Covers are only sold and shipped to UK mainland customers, excluding remote areas such as the Scottish Highlands.
